Bristol Airport Administration Building

A Visually Intricate Honeycomb-Effect Ceiling

The impressive administrative hub at Bristol Airport, located in the Silver Zone Airport entrance, showcases a bespoke Knauf Ceiling Solutions system that ensures acoustic comfort for senior management and project teams.

The architectural firm Stride Treglown specified a visually intricate honeycomb-effect ceiling calling for the design and precise installation of suspended hexagonal acoustic canopies. It represented a challenge, but one Knauf Ceiling Solutions overcame with developing a bespoke DONN® grid. The grid ensured that each of the 420 MINERAL Sonic Element canopies were positioned equidistant from each other.
